The GW Law School uses social media to connect and interact with alums, prospective, and current students. Below are some examples of how I use common and emerging trends, such as applying Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ re-recording release, using a mini-mic, and using pop-culture references to create eye-catching content for our primary target audience of 21 to 26 year olds who are considering law school.

Virginia Tech Photo Social Media: A Player Personality Moment

A TikTok about the Virginia Tech Baseball team’s Center Fielder and ShortStop high-fiving on the field after every win. Multiple similar pictures of the same picture began to build-up, leading to the realization that the high-five was a fun tradition to photograph.

In this post, I utilized a trending sound to apply a pop-culture reference to Virginia Tech’s baseball program and sports photography program.
